The Trumpet of the Swan

The Trumpet of the Swan is about a swan named Louise who was not able to trumpet because of a birth defect. Because he couldn't trumpet he couldn't communicate with fellow swans so he decided to go to school to learn how to read and write. When the school year was over his friend, Sam who took in him when he flew away from his home, bought him a slate. When he flew home from school he had wrote on his slate, Hi there and proudly showed it to his family but they didn't undrestand what he had wrote. Louise felt disappointed and learned that writing on his slate would only work with humans.  After the family migrated it was Spring and it was time to find a mate. Poor Louise couldn't say ko-ho to Selena, the swan he was in love with. Louise's mother was watching him and later talked to Louise's father and he decided to go to a music store far from ther home in Red Rock Lake and steal a trumpet from the store. When Louise got the trumpet he was happy but he knew his father had stolen it from the the music store so he worked to pay the trumpets price and the damage to the dispay window. He had a job at Camp Kookooskoos, Swan Boat and the Night Club. Was that money enough to pay for the trumpet and the damage to the display window? Read the book to find out.
This book is very heartwarming. I recommend this book to people who like stories with adventure.
